BUSINESS OFFICE

Our business office specializes in the management of all transactions while in the hospital. It may be contacted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling (042) 373-5925. All your queries are welcomed and will be appropriately answered.

The Business Office strives for excellence in its customer service, understanding the needs of its customers, and fulfilling those needs with clarity, efficiency, integrity, and professionalism.

Financial Services: We want you to know and understand your financial responsibility for your visit or hospital stay; this includes insurance benefits, your responsibility for any deductibles, co-insurance or co-payment, at the time of service.

The financial policy of Lucena MMG General Hospital, Inc. is designed to:

  • allow anyone in need of critical care and/or emergency healthcare to receive such care regardless of financial status or ability to pay, and at the same time to
  • provide financial stability to the hospital,
  • fairness to patients and third party payers, and to
  • ensure that all patients who are financially able to pay their bills do so in a timely manner

The hospital's source of income for operating expenses is the income received from its patients; therefore we ask for your cooperation in fulfilling your financial obligation. There may be times when you or a family member needs help in finding information or voicing a concern. If the staff at hand has been unable to help you, the Patient Representative can assist. A Patient Representative is available to all patients, families and community members who have questions, compliments, or concerns. The Patient Representative:

  • Listens to your concerns in confidence.
  • Assists patients and families by helping to facilitate communications with staff and resolve issues of concern.
  • Explain hospital policies and procedures.
  • Explain the Patient Rights and Responsibilities
  • Answer questions about services available at Good Samaritan Hospital.
